Salary and Benefits

Residents become members of the Committe of Interns and Residents (CIR). Many benefits are negotiated through the CIR.

The hospital pays for New York Roentgen Society Membership. Residents are encouraged to attend the monthly meetings held throughout the academic year. 
 
Residents attend the one day VIR review course organized by our Beth Israel colleagues
 
 
 
 
          The recently redone Riverside Park South is two blocks west from resident housing. One can run/bicycle beside the Hudson River along the whole west side of Manhattan. 
Central Park is just two blocks to the east.
